At the beginning of last week, there was a massive filtration on Twitch that revealed a series of crucial details associated with the transmission platform. Following this hack, many important parts of information began to come out, especially those associated with certain streamers on the website. And although some may have been more interested in knowing how much money they really earn some Twitch streamers in a given year, it seems that Twitch has also established certain guidelines to ensure that some creators are never torn from the platform.
Yes, after this week s twitch filtration, some have discovered a new list of streamers that reside on a list of not prohibit within twitch. The list in question was buried within a code sequence and mentioned that remarkable streamers such as Tyler1, RiceGum, Djwheat and many others should never be prohibited on the site. Instead of being forbidden, the list mentioned that these streamers should have their violations climbing certain people within the company.
While this is a bit striking of seeing so clearly presented, there are still many questions with this list. Specifically, the antiquity of the list is unknown at the time of writing this article. While streamers like Tyler1 are still quite massive on Twitch, it is difficult to know if the company still sees it as someone essentially untouchable.
The other intriguing aspect of this is that Twitch himself has shown in the past that he has no problems for prohibiting some of the largest streamers on the site. Notable creators such as XQC, Amounth and even Dr Disrespect have been expelled at one time or another, some of which have been permanent. Even though some of these streamers are so large, Twitch has shown that he is willing to cut ties if necessary. As such, it is difficult to know how the names in question ended up appearing in this list of not prohibiting in the first place.
What do you think that Twitch has a list of transmitters that refuses to prohibit on the platform? And what do you think about the names that have appeared on this list? Notice me in the comments or send me a message on Twitter a @ mooreman12.
